|my parents were hipsters|

i love the tumblrs my parents were awesome and dads are the original hipsters. although in this case, my mom was the og hipster in my book. check out that sweet hat, oversized glasses and mary jane flats. she was super legit! ok, she has always been legit but it takes 21 years of growing up to appreciate it.

i've had this old box of slides from when my parents were yougin's (or as my mom refers to me and mr.c "children") and i will treasure them forever. all the photos are of them posing in front of famous architecture or paintings. i have two prints over my desk at home of my mom in front of a pollack and my dad in front of a photo of some obscure skyscraper, both presumably taken at moma back in the 80's. I LOVE IT.

anyways, i've started scanning them at work on our new professional scanner that i'm (also) officially in love with.
